Combining Controlled-Release Urea and Normal Urea to Improve the Yield, Nitrogen Use Efficiency, and Grain Quality of Single Season Late japonica Rice

چکیده

Controlled-release urea (CRU) is widely adopted to improve yields and nitrogen use efficiencies (NUEs) in rice. However, there are few studies on the effects of mixed application CRU normal (at different N ratios) rice yield, efficiency, grain quality. A series simplified fertilization modes (SFMs) were set up 2018–2019. with release periods 80 days 120 at ratios 7:3, 6:4, 5:5, 4:6, 3:7 applied during rice-growing season. We determined dry matter accumulation, NUEs, The SFM_80_6/4 (CRU 6:4) SFM_120_5/5 5:5) 3.69% 4.39% higher than that fractionated (FU), respectively, across 2018 2019. Combining controlled-release improved uptake rate when compared FU. SFMs processing quality appearance grains did not reduce cooking eating a one-time mode high good quality, which worthy further promotion application.

Impact of controlled release urea on maize yield and nitrogen use efficiency under different water conditions

Controlled release urea (CRU) has been widely adopted to increase nitrogen (N) use efficiency and maize production, but the impacts can range widely depending on water availability in the soil. In an experiment using Zhengdan 958 (a popular summer maize hybrid), three levels of water treatments (adequate water condition [W3], which maintained soil moisture at about 75% ± 5% of the soil's field ...

Effects of Sulfur and Urease Coated Controlled Release Urea on Dry Matter Yield, N Uptake and Grain Quality of Rice

The application of urea fertilizer has always been associated with heavy N losses therefore, improving its efficiency is critical to minimize economic and environmental losses associated with its application. One possible approach to improve the nitrogen losses from the surface applied urea is to coat it with sulfur, urease inhibitor (agrotain) and other biodegradable materials. A pot experimen...

Responses of Super Rice (Oryza sativa L.) to Different Planting Methods for Grain Yield and Nitrogen-Use Efficiency in the Single Cropping Season

To break the yield ceiling of rice production, a super rice project was developed in 1996 to breed rice varieties with super high yield. A two-year experiment was conducted to evaluate yield and nitrogen (N)-use response of super rice to different planting methods in the single cropping season. A total of 17 rice varieties, including 13 super rice and four non-super checks (CK), were grown unde...
